2000.3-2002.8 Department of chemical engineering of the Louisiana state university, Postdoctor.

Research Experience

2006.6-Now Professor of College of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology.

2002.9-2006.6 Technical director of the center for the blue film technology co., LTD, China National blue star Group.

1999.4-2001.8 Assistant professor of chemical engineering, university of Tokyo industrial.

 

Awards and Honors:

In 2007, he was elected to the new century talents project of the Ministry of education. As the project leader, he presided over the national science and technology support program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the major research projects of the Ministry of education, and a number of enterprises.

 

Research interests:

Ø  Fabrication and characterization membrane materials for liquid separation.

Our research interests in liquid separation are focused on design, fabrication and characterization of new materials and novel membranes structures for the applications of nanofiltration and pervaporation membranes. Currently, our research targets include 1) design and development of membrane materials for flat-sheet, tube type and hollow fiber and 2) study the relationship between structure and property of the membrane.

Ø  Research and development of new type membrane device and system.

For the application of flat, tubular and hollow fiber membrane materials, the design and preparation of new type membrane and system are studied.

Ø  Membrane application technology research.

Using the new functional membrane material, the research and development of the technology of treating oily wastewater, organic solvent and polymer containing waste water, the treatment technology of high pollution wastewater, such as landfill leachate, chemical industry, coal, etc. are studied.
