Carbon Nanostructures as Multitalents-from Energy Technology to Electronics and Gene Therapy

 Klaus Müllen is Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, academician of the European Academy of Sciences, the president of the German Chemical Society and academician of German academy of Sciences. He is the associate editor of the Journal of the American Chemical Society and is known as a famous organic/polymer chemist. Prof. Müllen joined the Max Planck Society in 1989 as one of the directors of the Max Planck Institute. He published nearly 1700 papers in high rank journals, such as Science, Nature, Nature Materials, JACS, Angewandte, Advance Materials and so on. He owns about 60 patents and has an h-index of 125.Klaus Müllen's research interests focuses on the design and synthesis of carbon nano-materials, such as graphenes, dendrimers, polymers and biosynthetic hybrids.
